Challenge
Avoiding propaganda and creating content that generated real identification with ordinary citizens.
Solution
A documentary with real people in real moments: natural light, ambient sound, no staging. Multi-format adaptation for TV, web and social media.
Results
Over 100,000 combined views as the centrepiece of the organization's digital engagement campaigns.
The brief
Mobilize is a Mozambican organization dedicated to civic engagement and promoting informed participation in democratic decisions. They needed audiovisual content that communicated their mission authentically, without falling into propaganda.
Our approach
We filmed real citizens in real moments: a voter showing her card, a university student explaining why she votes, ordinary people talking about the future they want to build. We favoured the aesthetics of the real: natural light, ambient sound, no staging.
The result
The documentary was used as the centrepiece of digital engagement campaigns, reaching over 100,000 combined views. It was adapted into multiple formats (TV, web, social media) for different audiences and platforms.
