Objective
Create an audiovisual piece worthy of the largest extractive-sector conference in Mozambique, communicating the ambition and scale of the sector.
Challenge
Capturing high-level interventions (CEOs, ministers), investment announcements and memorandum signings with no second chance to film.
Solution
Multi-camera in the main plenary, mobile cameras for side-events and one-on-one interviews, and cinematic shots at the decisive moments.
Results
Broadcast-quality daily highlights; final film distributed to all participants and stakeholders as the centrepiece of post-event communication.
The brief
MMEC 2026 (Mining and Mineral Resources Conference) annually brings together the main decision-makers of Mozambique's extractive sector. The client asked for cinematic coverage worthy of the event's importance: not just to document, but to create a piece that communicated the ambition and scale of the sector.
Our approach
We worked with multi-camera capture in the main plenary and mobile cameras for side-events and one-on-one interviews with CEOs and ministers. We favoured cinematic shots during the key moments (investment announcements, memorandum signings) and captured the human atmosphere during the breaks: the networking, the informal conversations, the pulse of the event.
The result
Daily highlights published the following day, with broadcast quality. The final film was used as the centrepiece of post-event communication, distributed to all participants and stakeholders. We ensured the visual quality matched the level of the event.
